Venue and Seating Information

The Francis Winspear Centre is a prestigious venue known for its exceptional acoustics and intimate ambience. It houses a variety of performances throughout the year, making it a cornerstone of the local cultural community. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting technology, ensuring that each event is a remarkable experience for both performers and audiences alike.

When attending concerts, the best seating options are generally located in the center of the auditorium, as these seats offer an unobstructed view of the stage and superior acoustical balance. However, there are also side sections that do not compromise the overall experience for attendees. It is advisable to avoid seats located at the extreme rear of the venue, as they may not provide the same quality of sound and viewing experience.

Parking Information

Parking at the Francis Winspear Centre is convenient, with several options available to attendees. Below are some choices to consider:

• On-site parking at the venue
• Street parking in nearby areas
• Public parking garages within walking distance

The most recommended parking option is the on-site parking at Francis Winspear Centre located at 4 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, AB T5J 2C1. The pricing usually starts around $15 per event, which is a reasonable rate considering the event's convenience.

While the on-site option is ideal, there are other public parking garages in the vicinity that often charge slightly lower rates. Attendees should keep an eye out for any street parking as well. However, it is advisable to avoid parking in areas that prohibit overnight or late-night parking to prevent any inconveniences.
